percona-toolkit software package provides Command-line tools for MySQL and system tasks, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install percona-toolkit
percona-toolkit is installed in your system.
Make ensure the percona-toolkit package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep percona-toolkit *
You will get with percona-toolkit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
